Sarah Pearce

Sarah Pearce graduated from the University of Tasmania with a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Laws with Honours in Law in 2013. She completed her practical legal training and was admitted to the Supreme Court of Tasmania in 2014. She is also admitted to the High Court of Australia.
In August 2014, Sarah started working at Douglas & Collins in Litigation and Commercial law. She was the president of the Northern Young Lawyers Committee and the Tasmanian member for the Australian Young Lawyers Forum in 2017. She was a past member of the Northern Tasmanian Football Association disciplinary tribunal.
Sarah worked primarily in Litigation, appearing as Counsel in the local Magistrates Court and the Supreme Court of Tasmania until 2019 before transitioning to a Commercial based practice. She now advises in Property and Commercial law transactions including Business Transactions, Commercial and Residential Conveyancing, Property use and development, Leasing, Estate Planning, Wills and Probate matters. Sarah’s many years work in the adversarial system informs her advice to her clients, with a focus on keeping matters Commercial whilst providing appropriate risk management recommendations.
